A Quick Guide To Pop Up Events

Events are a wonderful way to promote your pop-up and build customer relationships. We’ve put together a list of key things to remember in planning.

  1. Make it relevant. If your store sells bespoke jewellery, hosting a wool-spinning class probably won’t be very popular. Certain activities, such as mixology classes or celebrity appearances, appeal to a wider audience but be aware that a smaller percentage of these visitors will be interested in purchasing your products.
  2. Let the people know! While events are a great marketing tool in their own right, you need to market them first. Get people excited on social media, and mention it to customers who visit your store beforehand.
  3. Maintain good relationships, both with the people involved in running your event, and the customers who came to it. You never know when you might need them again.
